Thomas Loikith, Esq.The Bergen County Bar Foundation is a non-profit organization established to fulfill the charitable and educational goals of the Bergen County Bar Association as well as for other charitable purposes related to improving the administration of justice, promoting the study of law and legal scholarship, maintaining and enhancing the honor and integrity of the legal profession, as well as improving the public’s perception of the legal system.

In furtherance of its mission, the Foundation conducts a variety of educational workshops and seminars and also hosts the public access television program “Lawscape”, which addresses a variety of legal issues of interest to the general public. Moreover, the Foundation provides grants to Bergen County schools and other organizations to fund projects promoting legal education, legal assistance and the enhancement of the community’s awareness of legal rights. It awards scholarships to Bergen County residents attending law school and sponsors annual school supply and holiday toy drives for the county’s children in need.

The Board of Trustees of the Bergen County Bar Foundation is a body comprised of attorneys and non-attorney members of the public who volunteer significant time and talent to carry out the Foundation’s many educational and charitable endeavors. On behalf of the Foundation, we welcome and encourage you to actively participate in and support our organization’s activities throughout the year so that, together, we can improve the lives of Bergen County residents and foster a greater respect for the law and the legal profession in Bergen County.

Our Trustees are proud to represent the Bergen County Bar and all it’s volunteer attorneys that contribute their superior knowledge and expertise in reaching out to citizens of all ages and assisting them to navigate the legal system.
